Lady GaGa says she’s thankful Christina Aguilera “copied” her look because it gave her publicity.
The singer, who is thought to be the inspiration behind Christina’s new ‘futuristic’ image, says she wouldn’t be as well known if it wasn’t for the star’s style choices.
She says: “Well, it was very flattering when it happened.
“She’s such a huge star and if anything I should send her flowers, because a lot of people in America didn’t know who I was until that whole thing happened. It really put me on the map in a way.”
But Christina said she had never heard of Lady GaGa when the concept for her look was created.
She said: “This person was just brought to my attention not too long ago. I’m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest.”
But Lady GaGa says there are “no hard feelings at all” with Christina and added that she’s just excited that fans recognised her style.
She told Digital Spy: “Even though I’ve only been on the commercial market for seven or eight months, I’ve really burned graphic images of my visuals onto the irises of my fans.
“They saw a huge, Grammy-winning star who’s been around for years and they recognised Lady GaGa. That to me is quite an accomplishment.”

daca imi amintesc yo bine...am tradus mai demult un articol aici pe forum...si era un art despre noul ei album in care zicea ea ca o sa abordeze un stil nou...mai futuristic...iar asta a ziso cu mult inainte sa apara lady gaga...deci...

gaga o copiaza? ) sunt atatia artisti care abordeaza/au abordat stilu ala

deci...christina nuh o copie pe gaga in niciun caz...pt ca e clar ca ea a avut ideea asta inainte sa apara gaga...iar kerli chiar nuh vad cu ce ar copia...poate numai cu modul in care are paru...ca in rest videoclipu mi se pare destul de original...
