Beyonce Knowles a creat pace cu militanţii pentru protecţia animalelor. Armistiţiul a costat-o însă pe vedetă renunţarea la un lux vestimentar de care devenise aproximativ dependentă.

Asociaţia Luptătorilor pentru Tratamente Etice faţă de Animale a anunţat oficial că Beyonce nu se mai află pe lista neagră ulterior ce artista a hotarât să renunţe la hainele sale de blană. Şi ca să arate că sunt deja prieteni cu Beyonce, membrii asociaţiei i-au trimis vedetei, zilele trecute, o haină de blană...sintetică. Pretextul a fost căsătoria cântăreţei cu Jay-Z, însă mesajul din spatele darului este unul cât se poate de clar: nu mai chinuiţi animalele, ca să nu vă mai chinuim cu protestele...
