John Senden and Greg Chalmers have each had a hole-in-one at the Australian PGA. Nothing unusual about that? - or is there? discount golf clubs
There certainly is. They made their aces on the same hole in the same three-man group - on consecutive days. taylormade rbz driver
It's not the sort of thing that happens every day - and especially in a high profile professional tournament. taylormade rbz irons
The left-handed Chalmers, who, two weeks ago, beat half of the US Presidents Cup team including Tiger Woods at the Australian Open in Sydney, notched his ace in Thursday's first round of the Australian PGA, hitting a shot with taylormade rbz fairway
that bounced three or four times to a center-left pin location on the 173-yard second hole at the Hyatt Regency resort course.
On Friday, fellow Australian playing partner Senden, a US PGA Tour campaigner, hit his approach shot to a back-right pin location on the same hole and saw it roll further up the green before diving into the hole.
The only member of the group who didn't make a hole-in-one was American Bubba Watson, one of the US stars in their razr x muscle back
victory over the Internationals at Royal Melbourne last week. |
